Ara
“Ara has reasons to run away from home, but we must not forget that anguish is the forbidden fruit and the piece that sets the rest of the dominoes in motion.
The synopsis could be summed up by paraphrasing Oscar Wilde: “Each man kills the thing he loves. Some do it with a bitter look; others with a flattering word. The coward does it with a kiss; the brave man with a sword.”
Even so, you laugh with Ara as you would with the comedies of Rafael Azcona and Luis García Berlanga, or with What Have I Done to Deserve This? by Pedro Almodóvar. Despite sarcasm being highly valued, comedy is a close relative of tenderness.”
